I didn't feel guilty about the appearance of aunt flo nor did I feel like I had to tell my husband and apologize for it.

For those that don't know...with hubby #2 he used to get angry when I started.

You know that is a really big thing!
I think women in general are made to be ashamed of this, and it's like, this happens to half of the population, suck it up!!
But...if you have a husband that is making you feel like utter shite because this happens, well it makes it even worse, like you have to start apologizing for something that your body does naturally.
I am a big "pusher" for girls and women (and men too), to not be ashamed of this, so I am really glad to hear that you got to this point. Yay!

Thanks. I would cry about it for a long time, every month and apologize. Then it was "I'm sorry" and feel guilty but this is the first time I haven't since #2.

Absolutely!

I feel as though I'm being redundant in bringing up something that I already posted about. But... trauma doesn't end just because we posted once.

My scenario might not be the same as yours, however it's ongoing and this week was particularly hard. I don't want to "bother" people with my problems....

However, look where you chose to post this! Sucess and accomplishments!!! That's fantastic. You took a huge step forward and deserve to know beyond any doubt that what you've claimed is a victory. Hearing it from other people is important. A victory owned is something that should be claimed and celebrated!
