We watched The Muppets Christmas Carol tonight. I bought enough eggnogg that we could all have AS MUCH AS WE WANTED. No saying no. Endless refills, kiddos. We also put the tree up.

It was fun. I smiled. With all the stress lately, just smiling was a big deal.

I've started making myself an Easter basket at Easter. I dressed up as a rabbit this Halloween and went down Main Street with my kids. I hopped and wiggled my nose at people.

It's silly. It's stupid. It doesn't always work. But sometimes when I let myself act like a child and have the childish things I missed, it sort of fills in a little bit of the hole in my heart.

I know the holidays are hard, but is there any way you can give yourself a little bit of happy childhood this year?

I think its to late to have a happy childhood for me, but not to late to get a happy grown up hood.

My christmas past year been pretty fun. Glad Im not traumatized by it anymore. Or any other holidays of the year.

By the way - I dont think your silly nor stupid - your just having plain fun :)
