That has to be hard. My mom took care of my grandma for a loooooong time through that. She was in her late 80s when she passed almost two years ago now but she never got to where she was unmanageable. She was the favorite in the nursing home cause, well, she was hilarious lol

I've held many jobs...some for years and years, while some were seasonal work.

My first job was tarring warehouse roofs and installing skylights, at the age of 15. I took home $200 per week and thought I was rich. :) Which for a kid in 1976, was not bad money.;):tup:

I erected steel buildings, was a skilled tradesman, and also did clerical work.

I've had some characters thru the years. One broke my leg! But glad I only am doing part time now.

I used to be a teacher of sorts with odd jobs in between (proofreading, bartending, web design and desktop publishing)
I used to help tutor Jamaicans to get their citizenship. Then I worked at a preschool. Then I worked as an instructor for the Red Cross, I taught classes and then trained people to be able to teach classes or get the EMT certification (I was certified myself). Last year I worked with a first/second grade class (small school). My most favorite teaching job was homeschooling mini for years x

I was a journalist and then did work in IT and ran my own boutique tour company. Now I work for an agency staring at a computer screen and using very little of my brain power.

Oh dear God! My brother used to work for a mental hospital working with out of control kids. He's had his nose busted a few times.
Grandma wasn't violent she was just goofy.

I have waitresses in truck stops in Florida to 5 star restaurants. Now I have my own house cleaning business. I hate it!!!! But love that 90% of the time, no ones home! Some days that includes me!!! LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!

I hated waiting on the elderly(ok, so now I'm one of them) because they are LOUSY tippers. But, I'm a good tipper, cause I know that wait staff get less than $4.00 and hour.

Many, a lot of care taking in some fashion, and my current goals & dream job is I think a librarian.

Or, at least ignoring the crazy life I lead. So a librarian it is.
