Depends on if you are in a medical marijuana state, and what your status is as a patient. If you are approved by a physician to use cannabis, you are essentially OK. If not, then no.

I looked it up and my state doesn't view it as something they feel is on the same level as traditional treatments, the State Constitution is pretty cut and dry about it, which had me worried, but now that I've seen in black and white, there isn't an issue with me buying it or owning it. We're protected, and there are local businesses in my area that actually sell it to the general public without a script, so for now it'll be fine.

NM seems to be allowing it still. I saw some yesterda I pick it up fairly regularly, its gives pain relief rather than a buzz. Helps me when I have muscle twitches simi!ar to Parkinson's. I also use it for a severely abused rescue dog and he gets relief that allows him to still function while the rx meds doze him out all day.

No secret how I feel about the pharma industry. Legalization of mmj for many illnesses is money out of their pocket so they will continue to spend bucks on anit-legilisation legislation. Campaign support for politicos by big pharma help keep the criminlization votes rolling in. Its not about patient care , pain control or quality of life. Its about CEOs making another million dollar xmas bonus.

Massachusettes has pushed back legislation on pot for 6 months. That news came out on Wednesday. Plus in my area, there is only ONE dr that has completed certification to write scripts for medical MJ, and he is NOT taking any new patients. There are no other drs in the area that have even started the process of becoming certified. So in Berkshire County we're pretty much screwed.

That's how it is here @She Cat There are plenty of dispensaries around, but you need a doctor to see them and no way to know what doctor will prescribe as they can't tell you. Any doctor or doctors collective I have been to, is strictly against prescribing, so I wonder where these prescribing doctors are. Must be up in Burlington or something.

That's what I am afraid of here. Since it just became legal for medical in Nov, I doubt there are any Drs that will prescribe it yet.

There are strict rules here, you must have been seeing your doctor for 6 months before they can write you in for a card as well. I have doctors in 5 different towns here in VT and NH, (2 down in Mass), some of them small practices, some part of a large network or in hospitals, so it could be that some of the doctors have to follow the hospital procedure and are bound.
The other thing that's problematic around here (I am sure everywhere else really), is the fact they can no longer prescribe pain meds, so pain clinics are popping up left and right with 6 month plus long wait lists. So doctors look at you funny if you are in pain and you are automatically a druggie if you even think of wanting to try any sort of marijuana. I do think they must be more lax in some of the bigger cities up here though.
Most of my friends and family are in FL and the ones in chronic pain like you, capsule kratom and swear by it.

CBD oil is now entirely legal in most states that allow medical marijuana. Check your local laws.
