Have your written your experience? Sometimes nuances of the incident will present themselves that are otherwise inaccessible due to a dry throat and anxiety which (may or may not occur in everyday life since the trauma).

Sometimes it feels like I can't talk in therapy. Not because in reality I don't want T to know, bc I do...

Does your masseur know about this and would it help you to share as this might stop the triggers . You need not fully explain if you find it too difficult rather explaining maybe you had an experience which makes it difficult during session. Often hairdressers and others are privy to much from their clients . If you feel you can trust in their professionalism this might help . Don't feel pressured to talk it will come in your time as it is your time . It's complex so it's not unusual to find that there will be times when you feel you need to be running when in reality a steady walk would be the best approach to therapy. Hope this helps

I agree with whoever suggested a cue to your T that you are disassociating is a good idea, to get you grounded. My T can tell without me saying anything which is very helpful.

It is a good idea, but I think I'm even too anxious tip day anything to her

She knows alt my past abuse. But I think letting someone injure they made you feel like your past abuser is cruel and would make them feel weird.
