The Sangin Valley had stunning scenery.
That's where it ends I even hated the kids at the end. Irrational, but I didn't give a shit.
Yea not irrational man, when we rolled into Sangin Valley for Operation LOAM the kids were giving us hand signs of blowing up and laughing etc...
So we were like... shiiiiiit. Lol.
Hanging out for the night outside what used to be an Afghan Drug Lords compound, then taken by the Marines. I'm roasting a frog for whatever reason lol.
Heading into some damn Valley. I think this spot was by Delaram on a direct support mission for the Marines.
Posing with EODs .50 cal lol. The spot behind me is Inkerman, or "Incoming man." I almost caught a mortar outside here, hanging around the vehicles a few days later during our short stay of 9 days or so stuck.
Buffalo interrogating. I believe we found three jugs of H.M.E here possibly if not near by for sure. Most the times we ran over the IED's and thankfully our vic's took the blast. So it was real nice when we actually dug them up instead lol. Less recovery time.
I think this pressure plate was hooked up with command det, and it was possibly the one we found strung across a canal. I spotted the group of teenagers come up and out looking shady, we stopped them at the canal crossing. By the time we got to the spot they came out of we had already let them go unfortunately. But the wiring led right to their spot. f*ckers missed anyway.
Chunk of the mine rollers got blown off an landed in this mudhut.
Camp Leatherneck/Bastion, Afghan. This was our main. We were mostly jumping around though.
Front of the same tent.
Bait mission lol. We had Gyrocamera's which were awesome.
Fixing the Buffalo fork/arm during our Short Sangin stay.
