For those of you that have me on Facebook, you would have seen that I felt like giving up yesterday and walking out.

Pain wakes me up around 4 am every day just about, 5 am other days. My anxiety has been through the roof along with my stress levels.

The target has been my 16 year old step-son, everything he does I fired up at, wound myself up, then targeted my darling caring wife.

Well I had the bags packed, had written my list and was going to cancel my appointments with my psych and therapist.

What a surprise. He prescribed a drug I used to take over 18 months ago, I gave it up because 'It didn't work'
Well 150 mg of Lyrica and it's like a wonder pill, I feel calm and my pain level has dropped to a 6/10 which is bearable.

So guys and gals, when you feel like your drugs are not working, go pack to the shrinky dink and discuss and maybe change a few.

I still am schedule to go to the repat hospital for a repat period. It will be good.

That's great news Jimmy. I had inquired about that same drug 6 months ago. I had heard some positives. More depression as well as chronic pain. Which I feel if you can alleviate the one the other should follow to some extent.

Yeah, Jimmy. Well done. I think pain is one thing that just makes it all worse. It's like a treadmill that just goes on and on and you can't make it stop. Feeling it just reminds me of images I should forget. Good story....Keep it going.

Lyrica 600mg, setralin 150mg, dalmane 30mg, mirtazapan 200mg... I still can't f*cking sleep.
When head goes it goes...
No tablet keeping the dragon at bay.
Is it possible to get used to this shit.
600mg of Lyrica used to floor me now it's like taking vitamin c or maybe I don't realise there working. Is that possible... Saying that wouldn't like to be without them

Mate, I don't use Lyrica to sleep at all.

All the Lyrica does is calm me.

For sleep I take 50 mg Valdoxan (which works with stabilizing sleep patterns.
The I take 15 mg Solutab Mirtazapine (because it dissolves in your mouth it works brilliantly. Less is better, I don't know why, but I found 15 mg more effective than 30 mg, it has other psych effects too)
Then 20 minutes before I want to sleep I take Immovane.

I get six hours out of it before pain wakes me up. Give that a try
