The VA is FUBAR. But rather that focus on that alone, how about we stop waging wars and staging conflicts we have no f*cking intent to win!

These articles are really pissing me off.

I'm sick of hearing and reading about veterans and how they are burdening the system...etc...etc.

Not this article in particular, but more and more I think about this article the angrier I get at the whole deal.

I'm tired of hearing about the percentage of veterans are malingering or over reporting their symptoms. This is mostly bullshit. I'm sure their is a portion of people who are doing this. But hell, they make it hard enough on one who really needs help.

My opinion...VA claims are the cost of war. If congress has not factored the possibility for 75% (or whatever the bean counter algorithm is) of deployed troops might become 100% disabled into their war budget then their complete idiots.

Most of us...joined the military acknowledging the potential of death or severe injury. Most of never conceived that we would become injured mentally. And then on top of that prove the injury and fight for some level of treatment.

Oh well...I'd like to go on. But it's meaningless. And so far I'm feeling no better in ranting.

That's what us Nam Vets have been dealing with for 45+ years!!! And this VA Bull Shit has been going on from the very start of the VA.....This is the first time I have ever seen the VA in the light it is now in and it's back against the wall....Maybe just maybe something will in fact get fixed.......I would love to see this done, before my time run's out.
