Many people with PTSD struggle to understand why they fly off the handle at such little things, i.e., the toilet roll is around the wrong way, someone walked in front of you, that stranger looked at you, etc etc. The reason is actually quite simple, and easier to show than often explain, why those with PTSD tend to get angry quicker, more easily, and faster than others at little stupid things.
When I'm out with family and places get a bit busy sets me off. Don't realise it at the time. Normally it's just too much to process or I've subconsciously kept my guard up and eye on certain people, who I have assessed as a 'threat'
I went to a concert recently and they used pyro shit and indoor fireworks. I was fu__ up for awhile after that. The show is normally geared for military and veterans; so I was shocked when the big bangs came out.
