Do you decorate for halloween? looking for ideas

OMG I loooooove Halloween!!!!!! I have pumpkin and skull lights, a graveyard complete with bones and a pair of feet, a zombie squirrel (seriously don't mess with his nuts), spiders and webs, and a bunch of other stuff. And I carve about a dozen pumpkins. Halloween is my favorite non-holiday.

This is so great, I am getting so excited, maybe I will try to decorate some this weekend. I love what you do for Halloween. Does your arm get sore from carving all of those pumpkins? I think I will get one and carve it and roast the seeds.:D:p:cool:

I bought a couple of the pumpkin carving books. They come with patterns and the tools. So fun!

I draw the image onto the skin of the pumpkin, then carve it out. The 3D ones are a bit more complicated, but it's the same general idea. I think I might try stacking some this year, for a vertical Halloween scene.

I wish pumpkins were out already :p

I love this thread. I like Halloween, but this time of year is hard for me. One idea my therapist had to "take back fall" was to decorate. I usually keep decorating simple with window clings, but maybe I will try something from this thread.

I used to have a huge collection of Halloween stuff considering my birthday is two days before.

My friends would love to give me witches and anything you could imagine that I could place all over the house. I still have some packed away and I might just get them out and put them out this year! I see lots of pumpkins and scarecrows out so who knows what I will end up with to decorate!

Of course, then I will know that I will have either a Trick or Treat birthday! Booo!

You're brave! I discovered using different drill bits to take out circles in various sizes (cough, you know, whatever size the drill bit happens to be) a few years back and bzzzzzz! Bzz! Bzzzzz! Done. :bag: Haven't been able to convince myself to carve again, since.

Lol it's not really carving unless you use power tools :hilarious:
You could try painting the pumpkins.... I'm going to use glow in the dark paint this year (I'm excited already), first time so it should be interesting

I did get in to Halloween this year. I went to a different store and bought something like this (You'll have to put in your browser) safe link and all of that. The problem is- I already ate the candy!
