Chillin late on a cool night while listening to families of giant owls chattering back and forth, while Bonzai gets more and more pissed off, growling under his breath. :D

Trying a new recipe and it works better than expected.

Hearing my dog breath while I fall asleep. Seeing him happy. My friends. Academia. Sitting outside catching some rays on the first sunny days of the year. Scandinavia and it's beautiful nature. Summer above 60 degrees north. Getting to know myself through travelling. A good night's sleep. Weed. Photography. Music. Movies. Profound and intimate conversations. Closing all my browser tabs after I finished a paper. Positive feedback from one of my profs and/or inspiring conversations about ideas. A great read. When I'm last in line and another checkout is being opened. Having my ex back in my life as a good friend. Lazy afternoons. Friends having fun on my behalf and being able to laugh about myself. Compassion. Creativity. Maps. Learning new things. A genuine Thank You. Walks with my dog. Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel knowing it's not a train. Sea gulls. Listening to a friend in need. A campfire after having a sauna.

I don't know if this counts, but it kinda makes me happy.....Someone did something they should not have done and they are feeling guilty about it. Even tho the situation isn't as bad as it could have been, I am not required to relieve them of their guilt. For some reason I take a bit of delight in this. (Am I bad?)

Being on the sofa, with my electric blanket on and a hot cup of chamomile tea, candles lit and my wife next to me. That's the place that makes me happy.
