Colorful and hopefully optimistic but maybe hateful occasionally

My mom assured me all my reptiles would be going to a safe home. To a herpetologist who knew how to care for them. I visited my dad as a teenager and saw them all there. My mom even got rid of the bugs I was taking care of, to give to the hedgehog. She couldn't have her favorite food for the rest of her life.

My brain isn't working today, but didn't you post about a plan you had to escape? It started with getting your license and then the steps you needed to move on?

can you look for that one?
Or - even better, make a new one! Like in bullet points that break down everything you need to do to be able to get somewhere new. It might be a long list, but then you can check things off as you go. That might help with the frustration because it is a defined list of exactly what is needed to be done for your new life and shows you the progress you are making.

Synagogue fixed the dysregulation. BIG sigh of relief :)

Sorry about that! Doing dishes at home is triggering. I’m still out.

Yes, I do have a plan @Freida. I got too overwhelmed to think about it apparently. A lot of kisses on my cheek and welcoming a newborn into the community got rid of the overwhelmed feeling.

My plan was:
  1. ☑️Get lisence
  2. ?Get job
  3. ▫️Save up
  4. ▫️Get a few essentials, storage unit that can actually fit my stuff in it, etc
  5. ▫️Move out

I’m currently on step 2. Step 2 looks like:
  1. ☑️Make list of places I would work, with boundaries but without requiring being the perfect job
  2. ☑️☑️▫️Build resumes (Biology, Library, Manager)
  3. ☑️Write cover letters for specific jobs AFTER researching the business
  4. ☑️Do application; send resume, cover letter, and references
  5. ?Wait to hear back
  6. ▫️Accept the position
  7. ▫️Try again if needed, don’t give up

My mom impulsively bought a 9lb ham. Guess who’s gonna have to clean a space in the deep freezer... after moving a litter box I guess. And others shit. Nice.

It was on sale from 40$ to 10$ so I get it. It will probably come in handy later. Good thing I don’t completely shun pork. It’s not great for you but whatever. Much better than nothing. And startup farmers can do pork best. Fun fact. That’s why eco-kosher let’s you eat some pork. :) Cool stuff.

ahhh! yes! that's the one! Glad the synogogue helped ... but it made me wonder, is there someone there who can support you as you go thru all these steps? Y'know kind of remind you how hard you are working and all the progress you are making?

Your plan looks great.
You're in my thoughts even if I can't be super present in your diary at the moment
