Yes @lostforgottensoul exactly, there's a wire in there. Wash your hands, stretch it out, tuck over ears, tuck under chin, pinch at nose, squeeze with both hands flat on your cheeks (cup your face- i.e. you can touch with wild abandon lol), then wash again. When you remove, lean forward, take off by straps and don't touch it but fold it sort of inwards and throw out and wash again. If you do need to adjust (sometimes it rides up over lower eye lashes, or worse gets stuck under, use the straps. You can pinch the wire more, but I'm allergic to metal so I can't, but safety visor holds it a bit too. It will last in heat 2-3 hours, or longer if you must, but if it gets wet change it because filter plugs and you'll breathe through the sides and that is not going to help a thing. :hug:
 
Sorry I forgot one thing-probably been said (& is kind of gross but I've usually always done it), shut the lid before you flush to limit contamination in to the air and surfaces. Possibly linked to covid spread when positive. ?
 
I just went to Walgreens to pick up some meds and a few basics and on the door it said "masks required." And I believe it said right under that "If you enter without a mask on you'll be asked to leave" but read it too fast. But, there were people in there without a mask on or any in sight. Like there was a guy with a mask on but had it pulled down under his chin (what's the point in that?) But there were people that has no mask on or in their hand or anything. Why is this not being enforced at least inside of these businesses? I mean, can't they enforce their own policies?

Anyway, more toliet paper at least. I'm so stocked on toilet paper that its silly to get at this point but there were more and a few more brands to choose from. Which is nice to see.

ETA: Orlando, please put masks on!

ETA: Mail lady didn't have a mask either. Like, in a hallway where people have to walk by you within inches. Ugh!

The hand sanitizer that was avail in Walgreens first smells like dirty ass! Its all I can smell and taste! So gross!

Today our governor made it mandatory to wear masks in all businesses. Not sure how that works because restaurants are open and you cant wear mask there. Some ppl were so worried about not being allowed to carry firearms if they have mask on, so he made an exception for that. You can use concealed carry and wear mask. So many people are so upset about this. FB is unbelievable. Ppl think their rights are being taken away. Ppl have not been wearing them in grocery stores, walmart, pharmacies, etc. We wear it any time we are out and are trying to take all the precautions. The best is to not come in contact with it. I am so frustrated by the anti maskers. Our country is in a crisis-just wear it.

I would wear it until I got to my table. Then I'd take it off, roll it or set it on some napkins on the side of the table or somewhere away from me and the food. Use hand sanitizer. And then eat. Then put it back on before getting up from the table.

I'm assuming that the tables are spaced enough so you'd only need it when walking by people and not really at the table (as long as tables are spaced enough to be 6 feet or more from other tables and from people walking in and going to other tables).

Yep! Me too! I go in and out of frustration. That frustration came back when I saw that Walgreens was requiring masks to enter and would be asked to leave if they didn't have a mask but there were people in there still without a mask on or in sight. Its frustrating to no end. What is the big deal about wearing a mask? I just dont get it!

The Orlando area just hasn't taken this seriously the entire time. Or many in this area haven't. Not saying they all haven't but many haven't.
 
As most States in Australia prepare to open their borders, businesses and try to get back to business, Victoria is locking down it's largest city & reinforcing stage 3 restrictions again. School holidays have been extended by one week & all the usual restrictions are back on the table.

This all arose imo by the scandalously slack and outrageous behaviour of a few selfish people in and around repatriated Australians in hotel quarantine. Everyone involved with that little fiasco should hang their heads in shame. All the sacrifices that other's made to nail down the replication rate of the virus in Victoria has now been wasted.

At least the regional areas don't have to enter the same restrictions but of course it will be a month before we see if the virus has jumped right into the wild and hit any further than the metropolitan area.

What did they do?
 
Australia is still struggling to smother the virus in some States and remaining completely free or at least unknown in others. We are nothing like the northern hemisphere in terms of the number of reported cases. Though I'm sure the people who have it here wouldn't feel so lucky.

The Lancet has reviewed all available studies regarding the worthiness of wearing masks and now believes that despite the issue of them possibly not being worn properly, not being changed enough and all of the other problems with masks that reduce their effectiveness, they may still be beneficial in terms of reducing the spread of the virus.
