Have You Ever Struggled To Peel A Banana?

Do you struggle to peel a banana, if so then you like the rest of the world have been doing it wrong. :eek:

You probably struggle to snap, break, bite and maybe give up and cut the stalk off. Possibly cursing the damn things for being so hard to get into at times.

Now, have you ever watched a monkey peel one, after all they are the experts.

So how do they peel them, in seconds.

They pick it up and turn the stalk end DOWN. Squeeze the the small button on the end and hey presto, the skin splits and easy peeled banana ready to eat.

And they say humans are more intelligent. Yea right, try telling that to a monkey, watching you peel a banana. :rolleyes:

Don't take the advice of a gorilla though, they just rip them apart. :D

Maybe Jawn is a descendant of the Great Ape and, his family, through generational changes and preempting technological advancement forgot the banana technique in anticipation of there being a device designed to do that for them?

Naw, we only evolved to the point of going to the grocery store to get our bananas! Peeling them, eating them, and swinging from trees has stayed constant in my family!

I'll admit I just tried it...that was so awesome! I don't personally struggle with opening a banana the typical way, but my daughter does and always needs help. I can't wait to try teaching her the monkey way. Hopefully she'll be able to open her own bananas from now on!!
