Bodily CPTSD Symptoms - Choking

I’ve recently developed a habit of choking. My only explanation is that it is a result of stress.

I can choke whilst eating, talking, or simply nothing. Usually I start choking when I speak, though.

My throat closes up without warning and I can’t breathe. I get over it quickly and pardon myself without any acknowledgment from others - so it is pretty mild.

Does anyone else have this? Alternatively I’d be interested to hear if anyone else has any other type of physical symptom caused by PTSD.

I also have constant chest pains which I’ve had since adolescence. I believe my heart is in good health; it just likes to pretend that it isn’t.

Erm I do have some but it's hard to describe. I try to avoid what I'm feeling cause I'm very uncomfortable in the body I was left in. I don't exactly remember all of them now which means it's working at least.

Main one is freezing and completely numbing where my senses don't exactly work and I feel less physical pain as well. My brain has reach some kind of limit and distorts my perception a bit and I see static, it's mildly resemble TV static but I can still see fully, but with a layer of static covering my eyes?

Sometimes when anxious, I'm short of breath but instead of inhaling I try to keep quiet cause playing dead always make me feel the most comfort (in comparison). Always remembered to never trust anyone even if they say otherwise. Also my muscles will be tense, body temperature rise and may sweat and blood pressure will rise cause I can see veins are more pronounced, it makes the episode last longer but in the moment I can assure you it's not safe to appear venerable.

"headaches" as I call them because it's the closest you can get to the sensation, but yes under certain stress, it replicates pain from around the time of traumas.

Like an Freddyt says, stress from the time of a trauma might come back around.

Was there a time where you felt like you couldn't speak or you were unable to speak when you wanted to use your voice?
There could also be literal times of physical injury to the throat.
Just mentioned the unable to speak on since you that's when you mention the sensation.

Realised I have had moments of throat closing up and when I'm tense, I don't swallow water right but luckily not too much as to chock on nothing.

I have this ‘choking / gaging’ feeling too. I think I read somewhere that this is a trauma response. I’ve got no idea how to fix it though

I feel I am taking my life in my hands when I take big pills like paracetamol. I've choked so many times. Mostly I'll just put up with the headache.
