Hello New Jersey folk. I lived in New Jersey until I went to school, also in NC, like Maggie. I rarely visit New Jersey because I feel I lack a support structure there outside of my fraught family. I would really like to chat!

I miss the parkway desperately. And the ocean. All the places I used to run away to and get lost in.

I don't know about Maggie but it was culture shock coming here. Diners ≠ Waffle House.

I'm not from NJ, but I grew up in NY and now live in Philadelphia, so I am familiar with it. Nice to know others are in the area, as this IS a global forum. Please conversation or message me if there are going to be any events or gatherings locally since I could use some laughter and possibly serious conversation with others who understand.
