If your day was overall just plain Awesome, or there were parts that were Awesome and now you want to acknowledge and share why, perhaps share the events, story, or simply awesome parts of your day, please feel free to do so here:

My Day was Awesome! The only issue now is that I'm a bit too tired for the time being to tell, so I'll add to this thread when not quite so wiped-out.

Does anyone, ...anybody?..., else want to start out:

Feel free and jump on in. Kinda' like a swimming pool. By the way, (the pool) that's part of what made my day awesome, but still too tired to begin.

Anyone?

I'd logged in this afternoon to return an email after getting a notice, then saw this thread. It's a lovely one, Hope!! I'm so far behind with a commision it's awful but this got to me so had to leave mine.

It wasn't a fun day to begin with. There was an endless, endless, MRI made more hideous by a wacking case of Poison Sumac ( Maam, please TRY to be still! me- I really, really AM- my foot itches! ) , machine one broke making them require me to repeat the entire process in machine two and it's 100 degrees outside so had a migraine brewing. Hee. I'd fed 2 hours into the meter outside the hospital, which I KNEW had run out while scratching away inside machine two. Pitiful, wasn't it? Not one thing you can do, either but know that metermaid was standing over your car watching the thing slide to zero, before sticking the pink $60. ticket under there. It's outrageous in the hospital zone.

The end of the now boring story? Well it's still boring to anyone else but awesome to me. I fled to the car finally, the meter had indeed of course run out a good hour before but no ticket!!! It seriously made my entire WEEK seeing that! I drove away ridiculously pleased, like cheating Death, and will tell him so the next time he shows up in the forum. So yes, it was my idea of an awesome, awesome day.

Ok, back to work now but thanks Hope, for the chance to SAY it was one in the end.

I have done more driving journeys today than I have done since the accident.

Took H to work - 20 mile round trip
Took daughter to the bank in the next village - 8 mile round trip
Went with daughter to next town and then to a farm shop for afternoon tea - 25 mile round trip
Trip to hairdressers - 3 mile round trip
Picked H up from work - 20 mile round trip.

Today I have driven 76 miles :D

I am so pleased my daughter is staying with us until Sunday. I really miss her. I told her how nice it was that she was here and that if she hadn't been there I would have spent the day wallowing in pain.

OK I now need serious pain meds and heat on my neck and shoulder. After the terror of yesterday, I think I can say today was awsome. I'm looking at handbags to reward myself .

Congratulations to all three of you on your good news. Incongruent, please take time to recognize what a HUGE achievement it is to be graduating at all, then give yourself some well deserved praised for graduating with honors! Anni, I don't have to tell you what an achievement escaping ticket-free was. Good going, girl. The Universe works in mysterious ways. Perhaps the poison sumac is awful and the MRI was no fun, but your vehicle seems to have been graced by karmouflage (like camouflage, only imbued with good will :D).

My day was exceptionally productive. I was, like, high-functioning or something. It was wild. I've had a list of to-dos for at least a month now that I haven't budged on. Wiped out half of the items today, will try for the other half tomorrow. And... it only took me three hours? Wow. Okay, so maybe I have some petty stress issues if this list has been building for so long and yet was so short. But not today!

Here's to another post tomorrow.

It's 6:30 am, and the phone just rang, which put me into the whole adrenline Whodiedwhathouseburneddownwheresthecarinaditch or even HowdidHEcomebacktolife" thing. It was my daughter. She has a medical procedure today, which her boyfriend now cannot take her to, would I? WOULD I, ha!

It's a pre-awesome day today, I get to see my daughter.
