I just wanted to say a huge 'thank you' to you both for the new chat room. The room is fast, stable & it was great to have video link too.

The Bristol UK Support Group have just had a very successful online meet, it was so lovely to chat to everyone again.

It was great to have a place like that to go again and meet some of the people from here. I know my old insecurities are coming out of my pores because it's a different level to meet people and I tend to be a yapper. I was so grateful for all the people that were there and all the patience with me and kindness I just can tell :) It was awesome to see you guys and be with others while going through what would have been a very rough day, amazing!

KP - you can get fairly cheap webcams on the internet. As we've discovered my mic isn't very good though!! Can't remember where I got it, but possibly 7dayshop dot com. P&P is free with them, so I use them quite a lot. Just seeing smiling faces is great though. We'll sort out another chat soon.

The easy part is buying it, plugging it in and setting it up is different, I'm a technophobe. It was fun seeing you though. Can I inflict my face on the world, that is the question :roflmao:. I think only for select people :rolleyes:

No problem with setting up a webcam KP, just buy one that is usb & 'plug & play' , it should sort itself out when you plug it in.
And as for your face, who cares what we look like!! ;) :mad: :giggle::barefoot:..................

KP - like cat said - they are easy to set up - if I can do it, anyone can! You literally just plug one lead into usb, and the other into the microphone socket. Seriously simple!

I don't think I would use it in the main chat, but after a little while in the private chat last night, I felt reasonably comfortable about it - but of course there is no pressure :)
