Okay, I accidentally hit post because seriously in typing blind hre.
The weird time loss incidents also happen under stredd, but there's no discrete trigger and no emotional or other phsiologgical trainee like the complete Dissociative meltdowns. So I want to see whether it's more of a traumatic brain injury thing instead. It's odd to think the particular form of treatment in got during my Special Time with my steodad each nine for ten years left no damage of that sort. And then I had a major auto accident eight years ago.
I'm susceptible to derealization, always have been, as a symptom of my anxiety levels. About a year after being on two different anti anxiety meds I cannot even "find" that unreal feeling voluntarily sometimes. It almost never jumps me from behind. The exception was the last few weeks when I was having acute Ptsd symptoms with immersive flashbacks. Then I was slipping in and out of both derealization and very acute depersonalization symptoms.
On the ladt, depersonalization is somsomething I told my theraptherapy I was most concerned about. That gaslighting thing is intensely powerful. I still cannot accept that I'm worth taking up air in the world. Not on a conscious level, but I'm constantly catching myself giving up, slipping back into that state of learned helplessness twenty stinkingly years later.
No, it's okay. I'll drink the diet ckoe. Even though I'm allergic to it [you always make trouble]. No, it's fine, I can sleep on the floor [just once I want a paycheck where I'm not spending it all on you! ]. I'm fine. I don't need to go to the doctor [doctors overreact and then the State will put all your brother's and sistersisters in Homes].
Every act of perceived rejection confirms this and sends me into my burrito state, wrapped in my squishy blancket on the couch. Rejection can just be not hearing my gentle subsonic request for attention.
