Surgery Round Two

Thought I would just check in and say I don't know how much I'll be around in the upcoming days/weeks as I have round two of surgery tomorrow.

I enjoy being on here and will miss chatting to people. Be good to each other and play nice until I return. ;)

Please be good to Anthony as he will be supporting me and let's pray he doesn't have to go through the stress of what round one surgery created. I know we can count on the staff and most of the members here are awesome. :tup: If you see something not right please report it to assist Moderators.

Thanks in advance for your assistance - I know I don't really need to ask as it will happen but just feel better putting it out there in case anyone forgot when this was occurring. (Ok it's the Mum in me coming out :rolleyes:). I'm in a fair bit of pain from being sick since Friday so I'm a little more frightened combining this and all my medical reactions from last time. :eek:

Have to say I have had a lovely pre-surgery morning today as it's my birthday and I got the most gorgeous card written from my son with the words "Super Mum" on the envelope which coming from a teenager is pretty impressive. He also got me flowers when I just asked him to save his money and told him it would be lovely to have him home for dinner (he's 19 so you know how boring being at home is at that age). Anthony gave me a funny card which I will tell you about later as have to start work shortly. I was also given a gorgeous Pandora pink leather bracelet with charms which I will wear with delight today.

Let's hope I'm back here soon sugar coating my thoughts....

Oh your thoughts have to be covered in cotton candy, the great big pink fluffy stuff. :D

You will be fine this time round Nicolette. But do remind them about the family of pain meds you are allergic to, they will know by now, but it wont harm to emphasis the point to them.

We will all play nicely, if it is sunny I may even go outside to play :D. As you know, I do have to get out more. ;)

Take care and you have so many sending you prayers and healing thoughts, you will feel us all there fighting to hold you hand.

Try to stay calm, it will help as you know.

We all promise to play nicely, so long as you promise to look after yourself and get plenty of rest after surgery and allow yourself time to recover ;)
