Aw... I wish there was room for one more... The Columbia route, then Craters of the Moon... Idaho... you all are making me homesick. (my grand parents and great grand parents were there). Safe journey and adventuring... thanks for posting up the photos and trip report for us. This is gonna make some great scrap book... I hope you (one or both) is gonna scrap book this as a "success and accomplishment".

OMG...Sandra were you in the lounge with us last night?

This next part of the trip has been even more amazing if that is possible. Entered Yellowstone via the South entrance through the Grand Tetons. My daughter, M, has decided to pretend she is a mountain goat and will stand on things, at the edge of things, and kind of makes my heart stop! But some of the shots she gets are amazing.

Well here is our Grand Teton part of the adventure....complete with a picture of Ethyl and Goat Girl.

Next part of this trip is Yellowstone. There is so much here it will have to be broken down into parts. Also have to go through about 200 pictures for this part alone. No don't worry, we are not loading 200 pictures. :roflmao:

Notice the snow in the pictures....well Ethyl decided to start a snow ball fight in the car!!!! Got me good, but I scored a basket!!!:p Maybe not the wisest move while someone is driving with 500 foot drops to one side. :O_o:

Ethyl is adventurous while driving. She has decided on a few occasions to "blaze her own trail". Over curbs, four wheeling through a median, on a sidewalk and pretty much where she decides she wants to go. We've dubbed it "Bison Mentality". For the first time in my life I came across a Bison traffic jam. They go where they want, just like Ethyl.

Okay...in my own defense...."I can't see"....oh...ummmm.....never mind, maybe that isn't the best thing to share. By the way....I didn't hit anyone on the sidewalk...and it did LOOK like a road...well, except for the barriers to keep cars out, and the poles lining the one side, but I was able to get off of it over the handy cap ramp....hmmm...this isn't sounding so good is it? The median thing though...that I CAN explain....my car has four wheels....I wasn't worried. The whole curb thing....well....I dare to go where no man has gone before...course they aren't suppose to, but hey we got to where we needed to go and all in one piece.

I have learned a few things on this trip:

1. M gets car sick on curvy roads....guess what the roads have all been like....uh huh...curvy
2. Lucy has anxiety attacks on curvy roads....Did I mention the roads, the almost all have been curvy.
3. Ethel gets a bit stressed driving curvy roads when one person is in the back, eyes closed trying not to puke and the other person is in the front seat grabbing the dash every few seconds, stomping on the imaginary brake, and jumping out of her skin.
4. I couldn't choose better traveling companions....we have laughed so much.

So all in all things are going really well! Lucy gets lost every time we park the car and Ethel's driving detours are a little nerve wracking, but we are having a blast! Hope you all are enjoying the pics. We sure enjoyed being in the spot to take them!!!!!

Oh...and the snowball fight in the car....hee hee hee....ya I started it, but Lucy did manage a three point shot from across the car. Don't know how she managed that one. So much fun!
