PTSD from alien abductoin recently

Hey. I have 2 dogs. They are my ESAs. Posts about sexual activity with dogs is re traumatizing for me. What good are posts from the community if the person who originated the post has not indicated they took any initiative to work on himself or herself? Where are boundaries here saying no? I am saying it for myself. I made any earlier post regarding history of seizure activity TBI concussions neurological issues. Nothing positive here. I am out on these posts. I am not able to contribute anything more .

sometimes I have a lot of anxiety around dogs, it's a reoccurring theme of dogs being forced on me. I don't know where this comes from;
I have a dissociative disorder. most/all of my traumatic memories are heavily distorted (in some of them IM an animal, opposite sex, being made to do things to people against my will at an age older than I am). but trauma is trauma / distress is distress. you deserve help too, regardless of where it comes from or how verbatim your memories are of it.
I used to think it was all stupid and not worth anything, made up and stuff because the imagery wasn't "real", so I should suck it up. but being curious about it and seeking help has probably saved my life. if it is trauma, the distress will tell you what you need to know and you won't need a verbatim (or any) memory to get help and symptoms improve.

being curious is good. if it is psychosis, that doesn't make your distress any less real or deserving of help. "not real" doesn't apply to emotions. you can also be traumatised and psychotic so basing weather or not you need/deserve help on where symptoms might be coming from doesn't really work, and is unfair to you.

Maybe another approach?
You are obviously hurting.
You think something horrible has happened
You aren't sure if it's real
Might be ptsd, might be psychosis, might be a medical issue.
No mater what is causing this you need help.

Not having insurance makes it all more complicated, so maybe a call to the crisis line or 211 can help. They have people to listen and a ton of resources that they can use to get you pointed in the right direction

I don’t know if i could get aroused looking at a dog’s behind, particularly under duress. Talk about performance anxiety! In some ways I hope you are for real but then again I hope not. I love dogs, just not in that way.
