Goal For The Day

Nice distinction Albatross, between goals and to-do lists.

Goal for today is to be rational about my current predicament - or as rational as it is possible to be. This will apply both to conversations I have with others and more importantly, to what's going on inside my head. I know I can't achieve this fully, but an improvement from yesterday's complete dump and burn of emotive distress will be something to realistically aim for.

The goal will be a long walk with the dog around the park (good for both of us, not to mention overdue) and lunch with a couple of friends. That one will be hard, even more so than usual under current circumstances, but again, much-needed and overdue.

Finish up the cookie projects that my daughter and I started yesterday. We made Russion Tea Cakes and Sugar Cookie dough. Will cut out the sugar cookies and get them baked today, then later ice and decorate them.

Also, would like to get some bible study done! It's difficult to quiet myself long enough to do that sometimes. We'll see.
 
Go to store to buy food for two dinners. French onion soup...and maybe something Indian, palak paneer maybe.

Hope I don't freak out while I am there. So my goal is to make dinner to tonight, with simple fresh organic ingredients I will buy from the store.

I also need to shower before I go...Changing clothes would be smart too. :O_o:
 
Finished the store, bought my stuff for french soup with fresh bread. Got somethings to make Shepard's pie with, and stuff to make Indian food. They will probably be enough to make the pie and soup again. Proud I only spent 33.65 on nice organic fresh herbs, meat and vegetables. I don't like the processed foods, the fake favors when its easy to buy fresh and make your own. Tastes so much better keeping it simple.
 
Taking the naps necessary to counter balance the secondary effects of chemo, and Ayesha is so right, eating fresh healthy foods and avoiding as much as possible processed foods. Yummmm can't wait to eat my spinach soup, maybe even for breakfast ... hey folks, with chemo you eat what you're hungry for ;):D as there is nothing much too normal with the meals during those treatments. :rolleyes:
 
Goal today...

Take a nap at some point, sleep is a bit off.

Go to the doctor to get more blood work done. ( I keep avoiding it)

Write in my journal about childhood and things I need to talk with my T about. And I wish I could remember what! :cautious:

Play the piano. :D
