I had a long conversation with her one day, all about it raining and not to forget my umbrella. LOL

My abby cat tells me when to go to bed and when to wake up. Who needs an alarm clock. She starts complaining if I don't make a move to go to bed by 11.30pm and stands by the lounge room door till I get up and move.

In the morning she starts hitting me with her paws, if I don't react she keeps tapping me with her claws.

Receiving a proper letter in the post from a friend.

Visiting a friend without prior notice and being given a beautiful scarf that she hand knitted.

I got a package in the mail from Beloved today.

What a lovely mix of gifts... best of all was a handwritten letter. I will treasure that for the rest of my days.

And a book from M. That brought tears again...

Its been a beautiful day today.

Sitting out in the yard when it's quiet in the neighborhood on a sunny day without my shirt on and feeling the warm sun on my body. Even though it's winter, it gets into the high 50's(F) mid 60's in the afternoon lately. With the warm sun, it's very comforting. Cool on the back, warm on the front. I try to just focus on the warm sensation on my body, listen for comforting sounds in the neighborhood, and stay in the present, enjoy the present. It's one of the few things I have left I can enjoy.

I've already hit the shops, I bought half price stuff for Christmas, including a gorgeous teddy for my great nephew.

This afternoon it will be online shopping.

Today I bought myself a lovely breakfast, a small piece of silver jewellery, and a few CD's. I feel good!

Now to write to my PDoc, call Beloved to wake her, and then fetch my son from creche.

When I was in the hospital, I started realizing how so very wonderful the small things could be! Coffee was a big deal in there. And when I got out the first thing I did was go to the store and smell all the different kinds of coffee! I am sure it looked silly but it was so beautiful.

Small thing...My cats greeting me at the door when I come home and then going thru whatever I bought to see if there is anything for them.
