Slightly ashamed to admit this BUT.........

I spent the morning lazing and napping in bed. It was 12.30pm when the dogs and I got up. It was so relaxing.

H came home from work a bit earlier. So we took the dogs to the park. We sat drinking coffee and eating muffins in the last of the sunshine whilst the dogs played.

The sunshine called me out so I walked the 4 corners of the wood, heard the woodpeckers, saw little birds, squirrels and a huge flock of redwings in the field over the fence. Perfect.

I am going out in about an hour, to start my volunteer work at our local carers office.

Hubby has planned his afternoon and is looking forward to being on his own for a while. Well not quite looking forward to it, more testing himself that he can cope on his own, knowing I am not just going shopping.

He will have to get used to it, as it will be twice a week for now, maybe more in time.
