I live in the Northlake area of Charlotte. I've struggled with PTSD for many years. I started therapy again several months ago and now I can't get that night out of my head. It's like it just happened yesterday all over again.

Hi, we just moved into the area right after my diagnosis. I'm in Pineville. I'm having a very hard time dealing with this. All of my doctors are in my old town. It's been a whirlwind that I can't see to step out of, could use speaking/emailing with someone who knows what I'm facing.

It's still new to me.. just started in November, I am not yet brave enough to go to a Dr. I'm still at the I can't even leave my house without having panic attacks stage :(

I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through but I'm pretty sure you need to see a Dr. though. I'm currently looking for one and I wish I could help you but we moved here mostly to put some distance between me and my problems. When I find someone I will let you know.

I am near Charlotte. I'm not yet diagnosed but from all the things that have happened to me in the past I'm pretty sure I have PTSD & probably something else to go along with it.

The first time I went to see Mental Health at the Winston VA Clinic I was a wreck. I could hardly make myself get out of the car and I was sobbing the entire time. I have been dealing with PTSD since 2003 and waited till 2005 to seek treatment, don't go the route I did. It is hard to talk about sometimes, but you have to. Keep your head up, you WILL make it!
