Dead Link Removed (Book 1)

When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

Shocked yet thrilled by Grey’s singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success—his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving family—Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian Grey’s secrets and explores her own dark desires.

Erotic, amusing, and deeply moving, the Fifty Shades Trilogy is a tale that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever.

Dead Link Removed (Book 2)

Daunted by the singular tastes and dark secrets of the beautiful, tormented young entrepreneur Christian Grey, Anastasia Steele has broken off their relationship to start a new career with a Seattle publishing house.

But desire for Christian still dominates her every waking thought, and when he proposes a new arrangement, Anastasia cannot resist. They rekindle their searing sensual affair, and Anastasia learns more about the harrowing past of her damaged, driven and demanding Fifty Shades.

While Christian wrestles with his inner demons, Anastasia must confront the anger and envy of the women who came before her, and make the most important decision of her life.

Dead Link Removed (Book 3)

When unworldly student Anastasia Steele first encountered the driven and dazzling young entrepreneur Christian Grey it sparked a sensual affair that changed both of their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and, ultimately, repelled by Christian’s singular erotic tastes, Ana demands a deeper commitment. Determined to keep her, Christian agrees.

Now, Ana and Christian have it all—love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of possibilities for their future. But Ana knows that loving her Fifty Shades will not be easy, and that being together will pose challenges that neither of them would anticipate. Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own identity. And Christian must overcome his compulsion to control as he wrestles with the demons of a tormented past.

Just when it seems that their strength together will eclipse any obstacle, misfortune, malice, and fate conspire to make Ana’s deepest fears turn to reality.

Just finished Beautiful Disaster, and now onto this series. I have been looking forward to reading this one. This series is another motion movie series in the making from its sales success and reviews.

Well, I have to say... this is one very erotic book. I expect to be reading with a chubby in the coming chapters based on where the story is currently heading, being to a very passionate encounter of some kind between the two.

Gotta tell ya, Anthony, I was a little surprised to see this series here. I'm about 3/4 of the way through the first book. Definitely quite erotic, no question about it. ;-). It's also made me think, particularly about the issue of control and dominance over another human being. Being controlled is actually something I have some big PTSD related issues with, but I found this less triggering and more enlightening. I hadn't ever considered the idea of the controllER needing to do so due to past emotional wounds.

Gotta tell ua, Anthony, I was a little surprised to see this series here.
Why? I don't see avoiding things of a sexual nature as helpful to healing of trauma, if sexual based. This forum is not about sexual trauma, it is about PTSD, which comes from a vast range of trauma options.

Interesting... I am at chapter six right now and looking forward to reading more as it just started to heat up when I closed the book last night. I haven't had time to look at it yet today, but hopefully will read some this evening.

I figured it would be triggering to some people, number one, and number two, PTSD seems to pretty universaly attack the libido. Gotta tell ya, this was a pick-me-up for my libido! :D

I had decided that avoiding something that "might maybe possibly" be an issue wasn't healthy. So I dove in. So far, so good. What I've come to understand about the control issues happened to coincide with an EMDR session on a similar subject. That insight was sort of an "aha" moment. It's also been interesting to read how a strong willed young woman could get to the point of allowing herself to be controlled. The development of the relationship between them sort of fascinates me.

My husband is now not permitted to take this book to his coffee shop and read in public after telling me he was hiding a chubby under the table while reading it when I was getting my back massaged. Nor sure whether to laugh, be embarrassed about him being so forthright... or just pretend I don't know him if he is reading in public. :O_o::whistling:

LMAO - "chubby" translates to American with no problem. I knew EXACTLY what Anthony meant!

Okay, so are you two reading the series too, or is it just Anthony and me so far?
