I agree the mornings were the hardest for me. You guys can do this. I think it helps alot to quit with someone else. Best wishes and good luck.

Try a V2 cigarette!!
So, instead of gaining these friends we're trying to negotiate loosing them then? :) I could learn to like that! lol I've been smoking less frequently about maybe 6 a day, to my usual say, 10, smokes? I suppose when you're not really used to living with your feelings, feeling ANYTHING at all is strange, and anxiety-rousing enough. Those cig's kill me, but that 'imagined relief' combined with that nicotine tends to go a long way some times. There's no relief in it though, anyway.I absolutely understand about smoking for anxiety. That's why I started as a teen. Of course as a teen I also thought it made me look cool. So NOT cool.
Maybe you can slowly cut down. Only allow yourself 10 friends a day for a while. Then 5 friends, you get the picture. Then maybe you could just suck on a non-lit cigarette. Even just pretend to light it first. Maybe you could keep one with you if you feel real axiety and want an excuse to leave a situation by pretending you want a smoke.
I haven't had a cig in 4 months!!!! Yeah me!!!
Oh, and I would suggest getting light for you, if you decided to order it.
Anyone have ideas for grounding (versus ciggies)? At best I am at 1 pack/ day, think I must go to zero, can't moderate. But how?
