What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

Sorry you are hurting so much CC, I understand how your feeling.

I went through pain with my oldest daughter a good few years back. I understood all she was suffering, but could do nothing to help her. I still think she struggles because of those dark times, but still nothing I can do.

Hang in there it will come right eventually.

Thanks Amenthist. x

He has finally come out of his room! He needed advice as his face is all swollen on one side. Probably an infected zit but I've given him Ibuprofen and in the swelling doesn't go down I will take him to the doctors tomorrow.

He acted like nothing had happened and that is OK with me. He is now sat with me in the living room. I feel so much better. I know it will happen again as his mood swings but at least we have a ceasefire for now.

On another note...I have a rat in my kitchen!!!

My neighbours had Environmental Health out as something had eaten all their selection packs! Because the houses are joined it is crawling around at night in the cavity walls and making forays into the kitchen. I found droppings in my mop bucket!:roflmao: Environmental Health are sending pest control out. We have had mice before and they pee over everything, rats are cleaner and cuter but still it poses a health risk so it has to go.

P.S. I keep wanting to sing that old song...'There's a rat in my kitchen what am I gonna do..'

Oh thanks for saying that Kim. I feel like I am a failure though.

You hit the nail on the head when you said that "My PTSD symptoms are quite tricky at the moment." You are suffering the symptoms of PTSD. That doesn't mean you're a failure at all! Imagine a person with cancer who is on chemo and is weak and throws up and can't do anything but lay down. You would never say that that person was a failure because they were suffering from symptoms. Or you would never call a person with a broken leg a failure because they couldn't get around or do what they used to without assistance. It's the same thing, only that PTSD are not visible to the eye so it's hard not to blame/judge ourselves. Please be kind to yourself, you deserve it and are worthy of it.

Today I am happily feeling good and strong. It's very nice!

The Little Mouse

150-the-little-mouse-nursery-rhyme.jpg
I have seen you, little mouse,
Running all about the house,
Through the hole your little eye
In the wainscot peeping sly,
Hoping soon some crumbs to steal,
To make quite a hearty meal.
Look before you venture out,
See if pussy is about.
If she's gone, you'll quickly run
To the larder for some fun;
Round about the dishes creep,
Taking into each a peep,
To choose the daintiest that's there,
Spoiling things you do not care.

I know it's not a rat nursery rhyme, but I couldn't resist! :p
