What Did You Do For You Today???

Today was more of a balanced approach in self care. I ate some food. Then I had a cry and then a nap/relax on the couch with the dvds in the background. I comforted myself. I was all wrapped up and I felt soothed. Something shifted. I was going to push myself but I decided to just sit for a bit and not push myself into dissociation. So I let myself sit for a bit then I felt a bit better.

Then I went for a walk for an hour and 40 minutes in the local nature reserve. It was good. Whilst I was walking in the reserve I had a few weeps. I kept walking and it was nice near the sea and in the trees. There were lots of birds about.
 
Thank you Jaret and Trauma Girl. Just have to remember not to rush the healing...but the pain pretty much takes care of that! ;):hilarious:

I almost forgot, I ordered myself a Medical Alert Bracelet. You can change the band on it. Right now it has a black leather three strand band(I like leather, I know, bad of me...I could never be vegan). Had just enough room to engrave all the stuff I needed engraved. Figured it's important to give medical people the head's up if they ever encounter me and I'm unable to tell them.
 
I went and got frappes, I also picked up dinner for tonight, all I have to do is reheat it. Still have to go to my daughters house to celebrate out youngest granddaughters birthday today. Will come home and eat and have ice cream, yum.
