There is a video, which I have nothing to do with, briefly discussing loneliness as a direct result of the value of individualism. Which makes perfect sense to me, the more we individualize the less we feel belonging in a community.

I don't agree with the heading precisely. I think that a lack of freedom, an excess of control of our lives by simple materialism, makes us lonely. As we don't have time at that point to take care of ourselves and each other, with the overall Timecost of Living. The communities we live in are of a certain quality... Almost artificial scarcity.
