The pressures to offer a "professional" opinion on something which we either haven't an effing clue about, or to say we can do something which we know is totally impossible, knowing full well that we'll carry the can when it all goes tits up - as we (with our "negative attitudes") said it inevitably would
Oh, and, "the knack", it's something engineers have (note who is standing in for the regular doctor (he's the man who drives the dust cart, and probably the all around most gifted character in the Dilbert strips)).
