Easter Time Again - Any Plans?

I hope maybe I can have dinner with my neighbors, but they have not invited me yet, so I don't know. There are some friends who invited me for Christmas dinner, so maybe they might invite me. Otherwise I have plans to go to church no matter what, of course. Maybe it will all work out for me to do something nice like take a walk and thank Jesus for His lovely creation. The weather has been really nice here.

We never had Peeps when I was a kid here in the Great White North, only this year have I seen them in a local grocery store. They may have been available elsewhere previously. The Grandkids will get some, since I am taking their Mom (my daughter) on a graduation trip over Easter for 13 days. Gotta make it up to them somehow :)

Oh boy, now I am in trouble. I opened one of the bags of Cadbury Eggs. I had two, one bag for each grand kid...... Sigh!

Most likely going to my sister in laws house ( one of many on my husbands side) I cant deal with my mother just yet and my brother and his girlfriend are ok with that. The bad thing is my brother in law who lives there will be bothering me about not drinking. I might choose to talk about this to my husbands family that day.

I'm thinking of asking the local Catholic priest to come over and bless my mother in law's house. Why? She can't STAND ...well, us Catholics but her place is full of ghosts.

The ghosts are real though. Family is coming and the dysfunctionality of my in laws will be a sight to see.

I am having my father in law over for dinner. My siblings will be moving my dad that day. He was suppose to move a couple weeks ago when we could of helped him but decided he didn't like the weather, so he moved it to Easter. I'm not sad that I've gotten out of it. Went down earlier in the week to help prepare. Feel for my siblings, they should have a nice relaxing day. Oh well.

I took my niece and nephew out to my parents house and we had an easter egg hunt out in the garden with clues for the kids to try and work out. Then we had a big roast chicken dinner followed by decorating boiled eggs and rolling them down the hill until they were all smashed up. Eating lots of chocolate now and chilling outside with the kids running riot! Lovely family day.
