I excel at picking up on other people's feelings as I am a universal empath and child abuse survivor....it probably developed as a defense mechanism, but it is very helpful when trying to "read' people or a situation.

I also paint, draw, love to get creative and make things with my hands:

I have a 6 ft tall walking stick or staff that is made of cedar wood, rabbit fur, deer hide, cow hide,a fox tail, a wolves tail, many exotic feathers, a crystal point on the top, it contains medicine pouches, a handmade bone knife for gathering herbs, etc it helps me to *walk and hike the nature trails at the nature sanctuary.*(I have CFS)...and can also be used as a weapon to defend myself if necessary. I dreamed it up and then I created it. It was a labor of love. ;):tup::happy:

@Cj77 I will try to get a pic of my walking stick to share...I still have work I want to do to it. ....The deer hide hasn't been added yet and I want you to see the little woodland spirit carving on it that a friend did for me when I was in the smokey mountains. :)

I have a few pictures of the staff / walking stick, but I have not seen them yet...my niece took the pictures on her cell phone and she is busy working tonight and today she is busy cooking Thanksgiving dinner, so I have to wait until she can post them to me so I can see if they turned out well....
