Ok, I got healthy enough physically to notice the illness and depression allowed a collection of dust bunnys! I decided to get really healthy...I needed to wash the entire room.:clown: It is where I live, so rugs, bedlinens, mattress pads, blankets all went through spring cleaning! Floors were mopped and of course there is still some that could be done.
As I moved last year...most of my stuff, car, furniture, loads of clothes, sewing machine, ect (including my 8 yr furbaby) were given to charities, rescue centers, women's shelters, Veterans - Purple Heart, Salvation Army...there is little to sort or give away at this point. So this is why most stuff now piles into tubberware containers in a 10x12 foot room. But it is all clean and sparkly and I appreciate the motivation of the thread.
@Changeling I found if the things we love (and have to part with) go to a cause that we believe in ...then it
can ease the pain. I worked on it over a course of weeks into various piles and then called the agencies to come get. It was in this process, that life became profound for me on a few levels... I had prepared for a future that did not come to fruition. Despite all the avenues I tried to secure an existence, life had other plans. It helped me in one manner to start over in a way that was mine and not as connected to the past. I learned to trust myself more and things less.
May the wind carry your heart & spirit forward and be against your back. ((((hugs))))
