Question About Seroquel Xr, For Anxiety, Not For Insomnia

Sadistic f*cking quack

Were you one of the 2 reviews? Just wondering.

I just wanna say that do not rush to a therapeutic dose.

Yeah, rushing it is also my worry but its almost 2am and im still wide awake. Im just hitting a ton of frustration with it. Im trying not to so what i do with most meds and toss it too soon.

I guess just keep plugging along. Just wondering if i add an IR which still totals only 125mg might be a good idea at night if im going off the other meds that helped me sleep. If i can mix them then ok but she told me not to so i didnt.

I have enough meds thag will make me sleep, just dont want to mix meds. Id be more comfortable taking XR & IR of the same med than to mix them.

I suppose just see what the next few days will give me and go from there.

@joeylittle patience isnt my strong suit but trying and trying not to toss it as fast as i did the others.

I sleep with the tv on, im terrified of the dark and of silence so its my only option. I tried headphones with music but couldnt sleep, or had a very hard time, due to being dark and i couldnt hear my alarm in the morning. Tried nightlights but they arent bright enough and then i have the silence.

I could try a brighter light with light music on like an external thing (like my radio) or something like that. I know sleeping with the tv on isnt good...just didnt see much opitions is all.

Whats confusing me is it put me out like a rock until tonight and last night is when i doubled it to 100mg XR, no way im used to it by now.

Yes be very conservative I don't know the ramifications of mixing the different formulations of seroquel...please work with your doctor on that.

Sometimes self research can't replace med school and residency...for example obtaining the wrong way antibiotic can kill you with certain gram positive cocci as you will lyse the bacterial peptidoglycan wall and release deadly endotoxins

PDR is for Professionals

I'm a special exception. ..started at 9 or 10 and studied medicine intensely and all of the prerequisite a stuff and beyond then went to college and trained as a scientist (molecular biology, biochemistry snd chemistry) then taught myself aeronautical engineering and explosives detonics engineering. ...and other stuff

Fireworks are still the hardest thing I know...flying planes is easy
and jets aren't more difficult than pistons or turboprops...just different

:)

It's gonna take more than a day for your body to adjust, not just to the new meds, but also if you're having big changes to your circadian rhythm;).

Also, Seroquel can be hard to predict with how your body will respond and metabolise it. Some people will be whacked out on 100mg XR per day. Me? I've been up as high as 1200mg XR per day. Big difference!

Be patient! And don't keep yourself awake being anxious about how you cant sleep because that's a common one (yup, me, I do that!) and if the Seroquel is reaching a therapeutic dose, you'll just end up too tired to stay awake during the day tomorrow, and then you'll nap, and that'll throw your sleep even more, and...you know this stuff:)

No light filter on my phone but ive put it down and tried to go to sleep like 20 times before giving up.

I hate grapefruit so no issues there.

Im ok with giving it a chance to build up in my system. Just the switch from making me always sleep to cant sleep confused me.
