I tend to get disappointed by having 'light' sessions. But I think my T is trying to be a bit softer touch, so to speak, because I am quite able to become dysregulated with the harder stuff. Or sometimes it's a breeze because I'm utterly disconnected from certain things.
Not that I mind a bit...
Stacking firewood.
There's a purpose to it, it's a bit of exercise, I can set my own pace, and individual logs each need a bit of attention in order to sit well with their peers. Also I have to be mindful of my thumb injury. That all makes for a good distraction and leaves less room for...
I do not recommend this.
The only solution insofar as I have managed for this kind of thing is to: (a) clone your own personality, except for access to certain memories; and (b) nope out permanently. The trouble with that is that it doesn't prevent intrusion by v1 and it's not what I would...
Your main problem here is twofold: firstly, memories tend to be well-distributed across the brain and entwined with other memories, precluding a physical solution.
Secondly, I'm assuming you're interested in the erasure of traumatic memories, but those that you'll get in flashbacks are stored...
I really like Cassiopeia because amongst other things it has Rho Cassiopeiae which might be the most distant individual star visible to the naked eye.
Favourite cleaning product is vinegar. Cleans everything glass, much that isn't, and is nice and cheap to boot!

... when you check shops' opening hours in order to visit them shortly before they close so there'll be as few other people as possible and you can spend more time shopping and less time with your back against the shelves, gripping that can of baked beans.
Ah yes, the same narrative problem as Back to the Future Part 2 had: the original injecting the love interest into the start of a sequel that has no room in the story for them.
BttF's solution of course was to have the good guy Doc Brown assault Jennifer into unconsciousness - with only minor...
Buy Kevlar gloves, wherever chainsaws are sold.
On the minus side they'll learn that they don't need to hold back their claws and bites so the one time you're not wearing them...
Whoah.
I have the inescapable kind of big T (and not survivable, for that matter) and the hypervigilance that makes no sense as it hasn't seemed related, but your making me think about it this way is allowing me to make a little sense out of it. Well, form a working hypothesis at least. Thank...
To be honest, I was thinking only of how long I need to sit in the car before I figure I'm sufficiently combobulated to drive home safely.
Oh, for those heady days not so long ago when I thought that getting a bit of shopping done afterwards would be a good idea while I was in town possible.
... when you block out 2 hours in your calendar for your 50 minute therapy appointment to allow for sufficient recombobulation time to make the journey home.
... when you realise that the reason you haven't made an "Introduce Yourself" post yet is the symptom of perfectionism.
An ermine/stoat. Inside my house. Probably followed the mice inside with the cooling weather. Cute little bugger.
Getting the cats out of the way so it doesn't try to fight them and setting a trap so we can release it somewhere else is very grounding, if not the most readily reproducible of...
I love the premise of this question and hate trying to answer it. But it's probably a good exercise.
Feeling frustrated - mostly at my type 1 diabetes which has been all over the shop this evening - also festering anger and irritability which I normally rarely get (or maybe I'm just getting...
I don't have anything of substance to add, but The Mouse That Roared is a fun film starring Peter Sellers in which he plays 3 different roles (same number of roles he played in Dr Strangelove) and a pre-Doctor Who William Hartnell which seems to be available here these days.
I can't get it out...
Hello @interstellar505 !
Bring up this very post on your phone and show them. Keep holding the phone if you wish to keep control of what they can see; they can always lean over and put their reading glasses on if they have to.
Let me be real though: that's not going to be stress-free but it...
