Poor Pearl had a rough day Wednesday. The furnace wasn't lighting (I think we hit a high temp of 55F, with rain, and wind.)
She was being a pest looking for attention, I was figuring out a pressure switch wasn't working causing the furnace to not light.
I got done and she was sitting looking sad. She did eventually come and make up and all was well.

Ha. Sad. More like REPROACHFUL. I’m sad AND it’s your fault.

Cats are amazing people.

You know what you’ve done. It’s cold. And damp. And you? Are. Distant. Not a snuggle-blanket. Fix yo’self. I will wait.

Hi all, let's talk about and share photos of our cats.

This is Ferdinand, my emotional support cat, who is my best cat friend. He loves hanging out with me all the time except from 11am to 6pm, which is sleeptime. Sometimes he'll get in bed with me and sleep on top of me overnight.

I never had a cat before, but I got years of allergy shots just so I could have a friend like him. Modern medicine is (usually) wonderful.

I actually have five pet cats and one is a service animal in training for my disabilities

Just started feeding the girls some new food. Gentle Giants.
Heard a lot about all the good it has done for others pets so giving it a try. Non GMO, human food grade ingredients. Weirdly, it was designed by Burt Ward who played Robin in the 1966 TV series Batman and Robin.

I have cats that just sit there looking pretty. Of course that could be because they’re just dolls.

Missy (the calico cat) walked by the other day and my eyes started watering, So....I tried to hold the monster while the wife did the trimming around her butt. Humongous mess. But after being hacked open in a dozen spots we had the mess cleaned up and the hair trimmed to prevent more klingons...

Her sister was so traumatized....

Buy Kevlar gloves, wherever chainsaws are sold.

On the minus side they'll learn that they don't need to hold back their claws and bites so the one time you're not wearing them...

We have talon gloves. I imagine they're pretty much the same. We have them for use with the ferals but I used them to get a grackle into a box, with a broken leg, while waiting for the rescue people. Amazingly he didn't try to nip me once while i rubbed his belly and kept him calm. He comes back every day to visit me now.
