morning dan yes im reduced to to the fizzy pop as started taking antiabuse for alcohol binging not because im being abusive just incase you get the wrong idea. was on the cannabis for a while to get off the drink but the dringing binges keep reappearing which has been problematic for me for many years. i mean im on five good meds but when the stress kicks in its not just mental but feel extreme physical discomfort and thats why i resort to the drink not because im alcoholic it provides pain releif. the only down side is my nightmares become so weird and vivid and have went through a shed load of toilet roll.

Understood, Steve. That 'lock-down' and physical pain was the hardest thing for my lass to understand.

True, it's a symptom of a trouble, I reckon. So you have to deal with the cause, not the symptom, in the long run. You are past the hardest bit, mate, seeing it.
Hard work and lots to learn ahead. There are good people who've trodden the same road here, lots of experience and sound common sense. When you're ready ask away and no such thing as a stupid question here.
