Sympathy is not helpful. Empathy is.
Showering someone with sympathy and false hopes does not help them grow.
There are websites for this, where every one feels sorry for one another and never get better.
I prefer to be challenged on my cognitive distortions and led toward healing.
That is why I love this site.
 
1. I think what could I do to help my anxiety decreases.
2. I feel vulnerable as a little butterfly. Too many worries at once
3. Overwhelmed. I should take a good nap
4. Tomorrow i have to wake up very early for doctors appoinment.
5. The thought i have too wake up at determinated time makes me feel hyperalert and unable to getsome sleep. What a pain!!
 
1. I somehow ended up listening to Barbara Streisand :alien:
2. :wideeyed: Sometimes words fail me
3. Teddies and blankie washed and hung up, dinner made, house kinda tidy-ish
4. Time to put my aching feets up :barefoot:
5. That's a monster piece of ginger!

2. Barb was almost code in communication for LGBTQ back in the day -where I lived.
3. As there were so many hate crimes 50 years ago...we asked if we wanted to be more careful," Who do you listen to?"
4. If the answer was Cher or Barbara that was a green light that it was a little safer. :clown:
5. I am glad I do not have to live in the closet anymore.:laugh:
 
Too much standing in the hot sun today, wiped me out:meh:
My daughters birthday which I am ignoring today, first time ever, big sigh.:(
Going to do some things and create a feast for me tonight.:hungry:
Going to stay home tomorrow and read.:bookworm:
Going to relax with this glass of red wine and get in the mood for cooking something good.:hungry:
 
1. Yes, I almost non sleep tonight. I have to be alert (in case that someone needed me :dpressed:)
2. I need some results, something like an insisted focus on «where my income is going to come from», instead of the false self belief I am responsible of others, full stop:mad:
3. Living with someone with crhonic pain plus ptsd is not easy, youknow? Stop diminissing important and real situations, please please
4. My imagination it is much more interesting than my real life. I am having the most amazing dreams, full of action!!!
5. Please please please, I wanna feel I am the main character of my life again :inlove:
 
Renewed sense of commitment and optimism. Positive reinforcement is an amazing motivator!
Need to keep focused on marketing and finance to end the year well.
Busy week with a lot to accomplish and not happy the weather doesn't want to cooperate. :mad:
Need to stay focused on the positive as I can get too hard on myself when I don't live up to my own goals.
Learning to say no.
 
My daughter sent me seven graphic videos of her cutting her arm:confused::eek:
She also sent the videos to several of her friends.:cry:
She woke me up from a sound sleep to do this:sorry::(
Then she pushed a cheescake into her face and said enjoy.:confused:
I ended up calling the police to do a wellness check on her. I wonder if she answered the door with cheesecake still on her face? She was drunk out of her mind this morning.:arghh;
