New Here
I compiled this from a few different quotes I found and liked. I posted it for my husband on memorial day, to try and lift his spirits a little.
Sometimes life with PTSD means living with a man I don't recognize, in the body of the man I love; missing that man, even though he is in the same room with me.
It means events alone and lonely nights; living with a ghost and sometimes a time bomb. It is about creating a world of peace and security to the best of my ability. But I will not complain; he is here. And this life has taught me more about love than I ever thought possible. I will keep walking forward until I find a way for us to walk together.
I love him; my hurting hero.
