Thinking about stress relief in the military, we were always running or swimming. One exercise for PJ's was to tie a big tire to a rope and loop it through your neck and shoulders and haul that thing around all day. We were required to carry a 200 lb dummy 200 yards (if memory serves) so we had to stay really fit. I wonder if that was just a way to avoid working through the stress. It does seem to me that was all we did when we were deployed and off duty, if such a thing existed.
That and slap bugs.
Klonopin is a pretty heavy drug. I really feel for you, Owings. I went through the same with my first wife. It was hard but I lived through it. She went out and got a boyfriend anyway so she pretty much showed her true colors. I took care of her through 3 operations and altitude sickness that went on for many months.
Now I am very happily married and look forward to every day I have with my wife. She doesn't question me when I openly space out or have bad bad dreams. She has lived through famine and the Cultural Revolution. Sometimes I wonder who has been through the worst. She is a rock.
