As a supporter, I truly appreciate the thoughts and opinions of those who suffer out there. However, there were certain boundaries that I felt were crossed by a poster who seemed much more focused on the attention that they were receiving. The advice they were giving did not match much of what I have read from any of the sufferers or supporters here, nor did it match much research I have conducted on my own to better understand what I and the Dude are up against. And to that extent I felt that some of those posts were very misleading especially to new folks on the forums.
However, I am always happy for the no nonsense opinions of both supporters and sufferers alike. How can we understand each other if we don't respectfully convey our thoughts to each other from time to time? Just my opinion :)
