I wouldn’t worry.....stating your opinions doesn’t reveal a trauma history necessarily. Chances are she’s so dim she won’t catch on.

And even if female abuse on men was rare, so what? It's abuse and is worthy of mentioning and caring about. The appropriate response to being told that something you posted is triggering to apologize and take it as an opportunity to learn. She was clearly more concerned with being right and protecting herself.

And it sounds like you didn't reveal yourself too much. I would try not to stress about that.

I'm sorry you were abused as a child and got so triggered by the post. You don't deserve any of it.

I find it ridiculous that I even have to argue about it. Of course men can be victims too, and yes, female on male abuse does occur, but we live in a culture where men are not supposed to be victims of anything. We are supposed to enjoy. That is the truth I believe in, and I removed that person from my Facebook friend list, cuz such ignorance just pisses me off, plain and simple. Idiot. Her, I mean.
