Account Upgrade Gifting Added

To assist in raising funds to maintain PTSD Forum, gifting user upgrades is now available from your user control panel: [DLMURL]https://www.ptsdforum.org/c/gift/[/DLMURL]

Members can enter a username (staff cannot be gifted to), then you will be taken to the packages screen. Members can gift:

1. Premium Member Upgrade - $45 one year, or
2. Moods Only Upgrade - $10 per year, or
3. Custom Usertitle Upgrade - $10 per year.

Items 2 & 3 are already available in Premium Member upgrade, so they will do nothing if the member is already a premium member, or becomes a premium member during the course of the annual gift. Premium Member will always override the other two.

I have a question. So, the premium membership auto-renews right? Would the gift do the same?

No, the gift is exactly as stated, they're not subscription based; they're a specified gift for a specified period of time, at which it automatically expires and removes the permission from the account. Someone would have to regift the item on expiration for the recipient to continue receiving the item.

Before it gets asked, No, you cannot gift yourself. The system will not let you.

My thought was that there must be someone here who truly will benefit and can not possibly afford the Premium Membership to be able to discuss with you in private. Maybe they are on the Combat or where ever. I would just like to donate for that person to be able to have your help! Sorry if I did not make sense. Just something I have thought about. Nadia, This would be a question to present to the Help Desk. I believe the User title is the box below your name. I reported your comment so Mods can look at your request as well. Report does not mean you are in trouble!

And you are a premium member which includes the user title already.
