The ability to gift an annual premium account upgrade has now returned. The last system we had didn't correctly integrate with Xenforo software, compared to the system we have now is simply an extension of the Xenforo account upgrade system.
You will see beside the annual premium membership a "gift" button, allowing you to gift a 12 month membership to another member. You cannot gift a subscription, due to legalities of how subscribed services are provided.
So members can once again gift their friends premium upgrades for one year.
This is a truly better system than last time... thus I anticipate little to no issues with it in relation to software upgrades, unless Xenforo change the account upgrade system itself.
