Hi,
I'm Dani and I am 30 years old. I've been diagnosed with PTSD for about a year now. It has been a difficult year; not only for me, but for those around me. As I try to "rebuild" myself I face alot of walls. I will never be who I was before I was diagnosed; but I know if I work on it, I can control it. And hopefully a day will come when no medication is necessary.
Thank you for creating this forum. It makes me feel not alone, as I so often do.

Hi Dani,

Welcome to the PTSD Forum. Being alone is a feeling many of us are all too familiar with, and finding this forum and others that have similar struggles can be a huge relief. I believe you will also find that many here are struggling with the many of the same issues in regard to the changes we have experienced as a result of trauma and PTSD.
