I am currently trialling another Adsense style system via a company called SuperLinks, who use a cost per impression, bidding payment system / cost per click as well. Adsense is cost per click, this one is a combination.
At present I am purely testing a few different methods.
There is a sliding footer, an interstitial overlay that shows once every 12hours when visiting the site, there is an interstitial that shows on redirect to external links and the second ad in thread posts is currently assigned to this tested system also.
At present I'm talking with the company to get a little help in ensuring its all running correctly and such, and hopefully, fingers crossed, this becomes the sites advertising system of choice.
To be perfectly honest, I need to stop wasting time with ad management that I'm currently wasting, and get on with other aspects of site management to improve the site overall. For the past month, my time has been all about advertising... which is just annoying me. I need to focus on new projects that build the site and user base.
