If its any consolation, my Christmas sucked as well. This entire season of holidays is overrated. It is only invented so that they can sell more stuff. Best thing to do is keep your expectations low. This way, you cannot get hurt or disappointed. I hope that rest of your year will go well.

Im sorry yours sucked! It seems to be a theme for thpse w/ PTSD; especially those like myself that dont have family/friends that believe them, care about them, or even want them around.

My new years resolution was to get better; thats on a bad start too...

Numbing all day at work is a challenge. I've learned to numb to my needs but attend to others' over time, so it doesn't "affect my job" but yes, it does affect me not taking good enough care of myself.

Thanks for reminding me of that. I do need to work on that.
