Sexual Assault Always thinking people are calling me gay

I think it would be good to talk to a Dr about this maybe being auditory hallucinations. It's typical for auditory hallucinations to be about things we feel insecure about or worry about or negative judgements of others.

If it's auditory hallucinations, then they are well treatable in the early stages but it's really important to see a Dr soon because it can progress and become so, so much harder to treat if you don't catch it early.

I'll bring it up in my next session, I do have family with mental illnesses such as bipolar and schizophrenia but it isn't my immediate family.

I don't wish to take any medications because of how they affected me in the past, plus I'm a recovering addict, 1 year and 4 months sober. It wasn't a long streak of addiction but it was a lot in a month or two and I felt that I needed it you know?

Thank you all for the input, I really appreciate it, I'm not spiraling right now so I can read all the replies again without any doubts of what's real.
